The mandate of BAWASA is to supply clean and safe water and Sanitation services to the residents of Babati. BAWASA is now clustered by small water supply Authorities includes the areas of Dareda, Magugu, Gallapo, Bashnet, Mamire and Katesh. In order to achieve the mission and vision of the institution on reliable and sustainable water supply services the water supply network itself and water infrastructures generally must be well maintained and sustained. Therefore, the Government of Tanzania through Ministry of Water has set aside funds for improving access of Water to Manyara Region in the District of Babati urban. The fund will be used to execute Water Project of Dareda - Singu - Sigino - Bagara water project.
